ZAKY SAFAR
CEO & Founder
Graduated with a BSc degree in Architectural Engineering from Cairo University in 1981, Zaky is the CEO & Founder of Lines & Angles for Engineering and Business Development and chairman and Partner of Medifine Corp Ltd. Zaky was a pioneer businessman who started penetrating the South African market in 1992, hence resulting in introducing and representing major South African Companies in Egypt such as Denel Munition, Fuchs Electronics, Avitronics, BBA and ExploSpot Systems (Pty) Ltd. Throughout the last two decades, he has worked closely and represented many Engineering Companies from the United Kingdom such as Kennedy and Donkin, Inter Connect ICC UK, Smith Telecommunication and Donald Edward. Zaky has also represented the British consortium led by Denton Wilde Sapte in their contract with the Egyptian Government to establish its Telecommunication Regulatory Authority. Furthermore, Zaky developed new opportunities for the Spanish market by introducing companies such as Indra and Abengoa in various market segments in Egypt. .
OMAR SAFAR
Business Development Executive
Omar joined Lines and Angles in 2016. He is currently a Business Development Executive and Partner in L&A. Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the American University in Cairo in 2014 and a Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from Westminster University London in 2016, During his last year of University Omar interned at Barclays Bank Egypt in their Corporate Finance Department. His previous work experience includes working as an Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Egypt where he participated in the audits of companies such as Novartis, Sanofi and G4S Security Solutions. Furthermore, he also briefly worked with Alvarez and Marsal in London, specializing in Global Forensics and Dispute Services.

DR. SALAH KANDIL
Technical Director
Dr. Salah began his career as an army officer at Ammunition Magazine no. as well as an army officer at Infantry Brigade 313 South Sinai. He then served as a maintenance officer at an Ammunition Work-shop, as well as a T.Q.M officer at the Arms and Ammunition Department. He held positions as an ammunition designer at Ministry of military productions and later on became the chief of the Weapons and Ammunition Department at the Technical Research Center. Other positions include the Head of the research branch at the Armament Authority and the chief of the Central Shooting Range at the Ministry of Military Productions and just before joining us, he was a consultant for Weapons and Ammunition at the Technical Research Center.
IBRAHIM MOSTAFA
MAGED SALAMA
Technical Executive
​Maged Salama joined Lines & Angles in 2019 after having had an extensive career in the military. He first obtained a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Alexandria and proceeded to obtain another bachelor’s degree from the Military Air Defense College in Air Defense Sciences. He was a ranking officer for 18 years in the Military and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after having coordinated and managed conferences/meetings for various projects in different levels as he also served in The Armament Authority.

​Essam was a director and partner at Tourism Investment – Dotcom Travel. He also started early on in the IT Department Arab-British Chamber of Commerce before becoming the IT & Network Systems Manager at the Chamber. Before that he worked as an Embassy Administrator, Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in London and the Embassy of Kuwait.
MOHI EL DIN MOHAMMED
Technical Executive
B.Sc. Engineering (Electronics and communication) from Modern Academy and graduated in 2006. Began his career as a sales engineer in MCV (manufacturing commercial vehicles ) and then moved to the governmental sector in 2008 to 2010 and was responsible for systems development in Tanta University. He then worked in the ICA (industrial control authority) for a brief stint. In 2010 he was responsible for the radio equipment's section in Barcotel communication as the technical office engineer and finally in 2013 he began working as an owner and re-seller for heavy vehicles and industrial equipment's before joining the Lines and Angles team in 2017.
Dr. LUTZ FELDMANN
Business and Technical Consultant
Began his career as a Research Officer for the National Institute for Defence Research (South Africa)
(1971-1975) and later moved up to Senior Research Officer for the National Institute for Defence Research (1975-
1978). He then started as a Senior Research Officer for Kentron (Pty) Ltd. (South Africa) for 4 years which he then left to take on the position Head of Propellant Development and Production Department at Somchem
(Pty) Ltd. He later became the Manager of System Development at Somchem (Pty) Ltd. and eventually Chief Research Officer, He also retained positions such as Marketing Manager also at Somchem, division of Denel (Pty) Ltd. and Denel Munitions (Pty) Ltd. and Senior Marketing Manager at the same company.
Marketing Director
​Member of the Standing Committee for the development of technical specifications and tests body armament of the armed forces. He also participated in all the committees of the procedures of pre-contracting and contracting procedures as well as to all contracts for the management of artillery (tenders, practices) from 1994 to 2006, whether local or foreign contracts in cooperation with the Armament Authority of the Armed Forces. As well as work within the Contract Review Committees for Foreign Affairs from 1998 to 2006 and last but not least he was the director of the Cairo branch of Trade and Import in Alexandria from September 2006 to July 2010
